We will start off by discussing why it was important to separate the 3 brands! First of all after talking to my mentors and close friend about why having one brand encompassing all 5 genres was not only confusing for potential customers but also turning people away from looking around the website. If anyone knows how important website traffic is then you can definitely understand how this was hurting business. In a nutshell High School Seniors do not want to look at Weddings and Weddings do not want to look at High School Seniors. This will begin with a brand new website in the coming months! Ryan Gonzales Photography dot com has already been purchased and is awaiting activation.
Ryan Gonzales Photography will continue on where Gonzales Photography left off with catering to Weddings, Engagements, Quinceaneras and Sweet 16's. We will photograph these events exclusively and will be displayed on the Ryan Gonzales Photography website. There will be galleries for each genre on the site and will also contain specific videos and a questionnaire to make sure we are a potential fit for a specific client. The questionnaire currently is located here Wedding Quiz, please take our quiz and see if we are a fit for your wedding photographic needs.
Gonzales Photography will continue to serve our High School Seniors and our Family Portrait clients but will have a completely new website. This new site will contain galleries for all of our High School Seniors and our Family Portrait Sessions along with a quiz for Seniors and Families. These quizzes are completely up to the client whether they would like to take them or not. We at Gonzales Photography don't like to use pushy sales tactics because we want our clients to be 100% comfortable in their decision. Try to remember that being a High School Senior is one extremely important milestone that your child has achieved and you only want the best for your child, right? Hire a true professional photographer who has years of experience, knowledge and is continually keeping up with their education by attending workshops, conventions and seminars. Ryan Gonzales is a fully Certified Professional Photographer who also educates other photographers from around the country through mentoring or conducting workshops. This leads to our Third and final brand!
Ryan Gonzales Photography Workshops and Mentoring was born to bring only his 12 years of experience, knowledge and education to photographers from all over the country. Ryan conducts workshops for all levels of photographers from the barely beginning photographer up to the more experienced professional. He does all of this as his way of giving back to the community and his many mentors throughout the years. Through mentoring and going to workshops you will develop a strong understanding of the true art of photography by learning the exposure triangle, the inverse square law and how it applies to light, lighting patterns to flatter your clients facial type and structure, posing to flatter every client that steps foot in front of your camera and much, much more. Ryan has been featured in Shutter Magazine and is an award winning photographer. He brings his 10 years of business education and marketing to his workshops to teach photographers how to make more money and bring quality to their clients. Check out this page to find out more!
At Gonzales Photography, Ryan Gonzales Photography and Ryan Gonzales Photography Workshops and Mentoring we make sure that we provide our clients with value, an out of this world unique experience and education that helps photographers of all levels to take their business to that next higher level. We care about all of our clients and strive to give them 100+% at every event, workshop or mentoring session. Ryan also gives back to the local community by helping high school and middle school students to gain knowledge in photography for when they are ready to start their own business. He goes over the pros and the cons so that each student has a very good platform to form an educated decision.
Did I mention that Ryan is a fully Certified Professional Photographer? What does that exactly mean, well this is what it means!
1.) Consistency: Certified Professional Photographers know how to achieve great results every time.
2.) Technical Skills: Certified Professional Photographers are more than just picture takers. They are students of art, lighting, posing, fashion and even interior design.
3.) Unique Artistry. Certified Professional Photographers have the skills to create unique, customized works of art not cookie-cutter pictures. They follow an artistic vision. It's your story captured as a collection of art.
4.) Professionalism. When you hire a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), you know you're getting someone who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver the best possible images.

By being able to offer the latest in technology it offers a sense of exclusivity to our clients because they are getting these products hot off the engineers desk in most cases. These custom branded flash drives are different from other flash drives we have offered in the past. The chip is made right here in the USA and also assembled here in the USA. The Quality Assurance process that these go through is very strict unlike outside sources. Some companies buy manufactured flash drives from China, India, Thailand or in some cases even the Philippines.
Albuquerque Photographer Ryan Gonzales CPP in the past has offered digital images on a CD when he first started. As the years progressed he began to offer digital images on a custom branded DVD with a branded DVD case. Ryan saw that it was not a very nice presentation of his creative and artistic imagery. In 2012 he made the decision to find a manufacturer for a custom branded large capacity flash drive. Ryan would offer these flash drives in his top collection because of the uniqueness in it being Crystal and coming in a box much like a high end Rolex Swiss Watch.
As he began to evaluate the value of each of his collections he decided to offer a wood style flash drive in a wooden box. This would be offered in the middle collection to safely and securely transfer images, a slideshow and documentation of a print release. Gonzales Photography began to surely impress clients the minute they saw how much Ryan cared about presentation. This new wood flash drive along with the crystal in the higher end collections began to gain much needed attention for the brand.
In 2015 Gonzales Photography became a staple brand in the local Las Cruces and El Paso markets but was missing one thing. Wedding Photography in the largest markets in New Mexico was what Gonzales Photography was missing. In early 2016 Ryan made a conscious decision along with his colleague Isaiah Orozco of The Studio which hosts Ryan's workshops and PPA sponsored events. He was given permission to use the Albuquerque New Mexico address to market his Wedding Services in a market that is well over 1 million people to include the several thousands in Santa Fe.
Ryan has become an educator to photographers nationwide as well as gaining a large following in the Albuquerque photography market. He is a mentor to a few photographers in Albuquerque and in Las Cruces with one-on-one sessions that he drives up for each month. Ryan's imagery has become something that people in the Albuquerque market is wanting and as trends change so will his artistry. He believes that in order to create an art piece that the image in camera was be 100% correct before his team can come up with a one of a kind piece.
Gonzales Photography in Albuquerque, NM strives for their clients to value photography as an art form and not just taking pictures or snap shots. Ryan is a certified professional photographer with knowledge and understanding in composition, lighting, posing, exposure and most of all professionalism. Keep your ears and eyes open because soon Gonzales Photography will be a name that screams high quality, artistic, stylish and memorable in the Albuquerque market as well as in Santa Fe, NM.

Go Book Introduction
This high quality Italian made Wedding Album is included in your June Wedding Collection.
On May 23, 2016 I had the distinct pleasure of educating some of New Mexico and Texas's finest photographers. The workshop was hosted by Isaiah Orozco of The Studio located in Albuquerque, NM at 6000 Midway Park Blvd NE. This amazing educational opportunity took place because of the Professional Photographers of America organizations initiative to continue to educate photographers nationwide. These days everyone believes they are photographers, but without the proper training and knowledge they lack the skill set of a true professional photographer. What they come to be are snap shot picture takers. It takes continuous education to improve on your skill set and provide your clients with quality photography.
This workshop focused on one of the most important aspects of photography, LIGHT! Without light there is no image, without an image there is no way to sell your client your services. Light is what a camera's sensor captures in order to have a proper exposure and a result of that is an image or picture for your client to view. Once you have an image, now you can have a picture or a photograph to sell to your client.
At this workshop we started off with personal introductions where individuals shared how many years they had total in their chosen careers. Once we established that we had anywhere from 1 year up to 20 years experience we had a good basis on what to emphasize. I was able to setup and demonstrate different lighting patterns, ratios and how to overcome different lighting scenarios that might arise throughout the day. We had the opportunity to photograph in the studio using different light modifiers. In addition we used two vehicles which allowed me to demonstrate the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. This basic principle states that as long as you angle your light at a certain degree you will virtually eliminate any stray light that would be distracting to the viewer. I chose to light the lines of the cars so that it would give the viewer an idea of the different angles and curves that each particular vehicle had.
Isaiah was able to secure a Gray Ferrari F430 and a 1970 Chevrolet Red El Camino SS both loaned to us by Motiva Performance located at 6919 Montgomery Blvd. in Albuquerque, NM. These two vehicles became our props for our 4 models that offered their time so that the attendees could practice what was discussed earlier in the day.
Once the lights were setup and my educational portion was complete giving everyone a good foundation to practice with we began the hands on portion of the class. I separated everyone into different groups so that each individual could have the opportunity to photograph the models utilizing the cars but also practicing the concepts that they had learned. Once everyone was in their groups they were allowed to take the available equipment out to use and create images based on the principles. We had 2 Profoto B1's, 1 Phottix Indra, 1 Interfit S1 and several Alien Bee Strobes with different modifiers.
When everyone was sweating, literally, we moved the groups back indoors. Once inside I began to take the responsibility of providing our models with unique images to pad their individual portfolios. I personally photographed each model with the Ferrari F430 followed by a borrowed Kawasaki Ninja (AKA Crotch Rocket). Each female model was then photographed on the motorcycle. As a final touch I photographed the owner of the motorcycle (Tyler) and his girlfriend Cheyenne to demonstrate couples posing techniques, this allowed me to provide the attendees with an idea of what the larger workshop will entail. This workshop will take place in September/October in Albuquerque, NM and will be focused on Seniors and Weddings.
We then concluded the class with a few giveaways from some of our sponsors. I would like to say thank you to Expoimaging, Photoflash Drive, Photobiz and Selfi Sticks. Keep your eyes and your ears open for information about the two day workshop that we will be having around the months of September or October. Early bird pricing will take effect exactly two months prior to the workshop.
Thank you to everyone who attended and gave me your complete and total undivided attention. I would also like to thank the Orozco's for hosting and Chrisinda Treadwell of Treadwell Photography for helping me educate the photographers, setting up the studio and assisting during the hands on portion. You can find out more about Treadwell Photography by clicking this link http://www.chrisindatreadwell.com. I look forward to working and providing quality education in the Albuquerque area.
