In this blog I am going to explain several reasons why you as a vendor or service provider in the events industry need to be attending shows/expos and networking.
How do people become aware of your business? They become aware by seeing your logo, your images, your products, hearing about the service you provided or hearing about what your business does.
We do Bridal & Quince Expos (Shows) to make the community aware of our overall brand! Some may ask do they book at these events and the answer is yes but you have to present value. If you can present a value to the customer that they can't refuse and want then they will buy!
This is our typical bridal/quince show display which includes multiple 24x36 matte finished prints on the Bayphoto Xpozer! It is a 10'x10' commercial display that uses wires (thick fishing line) to give the effect that the prints are floating creating a sense of mystery as well as a clean display.
As you think about the images you want to display think about the sizes you want to sell as well. Remember that you can't sell what the client can't see or envision! My photography practice sells everything from 16x24 to 40x60's on Giclee Canvas Gallery Wraps and Metal Prints. The reason we sell such large prints are two fold, one being art is meant to be displayed as large as possible, two for our clients to get certain products like signature edits, composites or montages they have to be purchased in 16x24 or larger.
Prints are what we sell and want our clients to see the value in having something that they can display in their homes as ART!
Create a collection that can be used for Weddings, Quinceaneras and Sweet 16's. We created a collection that was all inclusive and contained value in the clients eyes. I have learned that you must show the total retail value for people to see the immediate value as a promotional price. If they understand that tomorrow the price will go up to retail or close to retail this creates a sense of urgency.
When the potential client see's an urgency to book at a show promotional price they tend to book immediately with little to no questions asked. It is imperative that clients understand that this is a show only promotion and that they only have this one opportunity to save a considerable amount of money by booking on the spot.
Remember create value, a sense of urgency and an amazing display with EPIC Images....
